Logic circuits, memory circuits, and complex circuits using multi-valued differential logic.
In conventional LSI using CMOS circuits, the increase in clock frequency has been pointed out to lead to an increase in power consumption. Circuit technology based on current mode can achieve a reduction in power consumption compared to CMOS at frequencies of around 600 MHz or higher. The present invention provides a static memory retention circuit through the configuration of a flip-flop based on multi-valued operating logic. As a result of previous research, it has become possible to configure logic circuits, memory circuits, and composite circuits using multi-valued differential logic.
